Upper Columbia RV Park

Upper Columbia RV Park was the first disc golf course designed by Philip Romney while he was a sophomore in high school. After spending two summers maintaining the property, he recognized the potential for a small course that guests could enjoy. Using borrowed baskets, homemade tee pads, and locally printed signs, a simple five-hole course was installed in 2019 and remained a popular attraction for several years. Although the original course was removed in 2025, plans are underway for a redesigned layout.

Located near Northport, Washington, just five miles from the Canadian border, Upper Columbia RV Park sits along the banks of the Columbia River at the base of a forested mountainside. The peaceful riverside setting has long made it a favorite stop for travelers exploring northeastern Washington and southern British Columbia.
